Screaming Frog is a very good crawler. Three things about how it is sold and how it runs send people to search for something else.
It renews every year, per person
Their page states that licences last one year and are per user. Two people looking after the same client roster is two licences, every year.
It uses your own computer
It is a program you install, so a big crawl takes your memory and your machine with it for as long as it runs.
The free version stops at 500
Their free version is capped at 500 addresses a crawl, which is under the size of a lot of small business sites.

About $18 to $42 a month on desktop, cloud from higher
A technical auditing tool with a desktop version and a cloud version. The smaller desktop plan caps an audit at 10,000 addresses and the bigger one at 500,000. It draws a site as a map, compares one audit against the last, and explains each fault at length.
Best if you write long technical audits for a living and want the deepest written explanation of every problem.
Screpy
$59 to $177 once on their marketplace listing, or from about $6 a month
A web tool that bundles crawling with keyword position tracking, page speed and uptime checks. Nothing to download. Their lifetime tiers list 5,000 crawl pages per project and 5, 10 or 15 projects.
Best if you want one cheap tool covering several jobs and your client sites stay under a few thousand pages.
The audit module inside a big suite
Usually well over $100 a month, and it cannot be bought on its own
Ahrefs and Semrush both include a site audit alongside backlinks, keywords and rank tracking. You are buying the whole suite; the crawler is one tab in it.
Best if you already pay for the suite for other reasons. A poor answer if the crawl is the only part you need.

Best if you look after several client sites, you want the crawl off your laptop, and you would rather pay once than every year.
When to stay where you are
Three cases where none of the four above is an upgrade, and renewing your Screaming Frog licence is simply the right call.
You crawl sites that are behind a login, on a staging server or only reachable from your office network. A tool that runs in a browser cannot see any of those. Screaming Frog runs on your own machine and can.
You pull custom data off pages, or you lean on its links into Google Search Console, Analytics and PageSpeed. Nothing on this list does that as well.
You have used it for years, you are fast in it, and the licence is a rounding error against your billing rate. Switching tools costs time, and time is the thing you are short of.
