What each one actually is
Screaming Frog
Screaming Frog SEO Spider is a program you download and install. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and it crawls using your own computer, your own connection and your own memory. A licence lasts one year and covers one person. The free version stops at 500 addresses.
Fullsweep
Fullsweep is a website. You paste an address and the crawl runs on our machines, so nothing is installed and your laptop stays free. You can check a site and read the whole report before you make an account. One payment covers every site you will ever look after.
Where Screaming Frog is better than us
These are real, and they are not going to be fixed by us writing a nicer sentence about them.
It goes far deeper than we do
Screaming Frog has years of settings, custom extraction, and its own connections into Google Search Console, Analytics and PageSpeed. If you need to pull one specific thing off ten thousand pages, that is the tool.
It can reach places we cannot
Because it runs on your own machine, it can crawl a staging site, a site behind a login, or a site that is only reachable from your office network. We can only reach pages that are on the open web.
It has a decade of trust behind it
It is the crawler most technical SEOs learned on, and there are years of guides, courses and forum answers written about it. Fullsweep is new this year and cannot match that track record yet. We are not going to pretend otherwise.

Buy Screaming Frog if
Pick Screaming Frog if you need the deepest crawl in the trade, you pull custom data off pages, or you have to crawl sites that are not on the open web. It is worth its price for that work.
Buy Fullsweep if
Pick Fullsweep if you look after several client sites, you want the crawl off your laptop, and you would rather pay once than sign up to a bill that arrives every year for every person.
